10 Lemax Lighted Buildings We Love for Christmas 2026
At Canadian Villages, Lighted Buildings are one of our favourite parts of any Lemax display. They turn a collection into a real little town filled with shops, restaurants, churches, train stations and plenty of Christmas magic.
We picked 10 buildings from our collection that we love this year. They're not officially ranked — because asking us to pick a favourite Lemax building is a little like asking someone to pick their favourite child.
So, in no particular order...
Tidings & Joy – 65526
Every Christmas Main Street needs a toy store! New for 2026, Tidings & Joy has giant nutcrackers, presents piled outside, toys in the windows and Santa waving from the rooftop. Add some shoppers and a Christmas tree and you've got the busiest spot in town.
Maple Lane Chapel – 65542
Every little Christmas town needs a church. New for 2026, Maple Lane Chapel features golden angels, Christmas greenery and beautiful stained-glass windows. Place it among some snow-covered trees, add a few carolers outside, and Christmas Eve is ready to begin.
Wonderland Rail – 55351
There is just something about trains and Christmas villages. Wonderland Rail is a wonderfully decorated little station that's perfect beside a Lemax train. Add some travellers waiting nearby and suddenly your village has public transportation — probably better than most real cities.
Municipal Clock Tower – 05007
Originally released in 2010, the Municipal Clock Tower is still a fantastic centrepiece for a traditional village. Put it in the middle of your town square, surround it with shops, benches and Christmas trees, and your villagers finally have somewhere to meet — and no excuse for being late.
Main Terminal Train Station – 75194
This one is a Canadian Villages favourite! We've actually used the Main Terminal Train Station as the centrepiece of our own family Lemax display. Add a train, travellers and some luggage and you've got an entire Christmas scene.
Teddy Bear Factory – 55312
Somebody has to make all those Christmas toys! Teddy Bear Factory brings a little North Pole magic to your village. Surround it with elves, presents and delivery vehicles. Just remember: no vacation requests until December 26th.
The Christmas Cafe – 55313
After a long day of Christmas shopping, everyone needs a hot chocolate. The Christmas Cafe is perfect for a busy shopping district. Add some shoppers outside and suddenly your villagers aren't just standing around — they're waiting for coffee. Much more realistic.
Pine Grove Pizza – 55322
Christmas dinner is great, but eventually somebody wants pizza. Pine Grove Pizza adds a fun everyday business to your village Main Street. After nine hours of putting up Christmas lights, nobody is cooking tonight.
The Reindeer Cafe – 55327
Apparently reindeer need coffee breaks too! The Reindeer Cafe is perfect for Santa's Wonderland. Coffee for the elves, carrots for the reindeer and something extremely strong for Santa. December 24th is going to be a long night.
Arie's Castle – 65561
Sometimes your Christmas village needs a little grandeur. Sometimes it needs a castle. New for 2026, Arie's Castle towers over your village with spires, flags and Christmas decorations. Put it toward the back of your display and let it overlook the entire town.
What's Your Favourite?
Those are 10 of our favourites — but there are lots more Lighted Buildings at Canadian Villages.
Merry Christmas and Happy Village Building!
